The Rolodex

Two interviews today: the first one, teaching in a middle school (I still haven’t heard back from the first school that I interviewed with); the second, an administrative position at a conservatory in the city where most of my friends go to school (I can think of SO many reasons this job would be beneficial to me).

My outfit makes me look a little bit like a flight attendant I think — but I am so sick of wearing suits to interviews, and this outfit is so much more comfortable and so much more ME.

Yesterday was so beautiful out. My roommate and I went for like a two hour walk, and I mapped it later on — we walked almost four-and-a-half miles!  So great.  I wish today were going to be as nice as yesterday.  I am TOTALLY happy with summer in March.

Happy Ides of March!  Or should I say “beware”?  Just be sure you don’t get stabbed by 32 of your closest colleagues today, I guess is what I’m saying.

Sad — yesterday and the day before were iced-coffee days.  Today is back to hot coffee :( the weather got crappy again.

PS - remember that date I was supposed to go on last Thursday but then didn’t because children made me feel like the crappiest crappo?  Trying again tonight.  We’ll call him the Mexican (even though I am fairly certain he is not Mexican).  I’ll post an outfit (will probably be similar to what I am wearing now) and update how it went.

PPS - I just ate like eighty m&ms for breakfast.  Also eating actual breakfast.
